Current Council Guidance for in-person activities:

Unit activities in person should follow current CDC and state of Ohio guidelines for gatherings.
  • Maintain and limit the gathering to no more than 10 people
  • If you are going to meet, use an outdoor location
  • People should observe social distancing of six feet with frequent hand washing and sanitization
  • When meeting in person, individuals need to wear face coverings

June Roundtable will be on Zoom - Save the Date for June 11, 2020.

 

The Chinquapin District Picnic / August Roundtable will be held July 30, 2020. 

This is also the Final Fall Membership Kickoff.

The event will be held using social distancing guidelines in effect at the time. We are working to have a Trail's End representative on-site. This will replace our August Roundtable (pending any scheduling changes with the Popcorn team), and your units should plan to send 2 leaders to attend.

Jason Shaved his Beard!
District Commissioner Jason Vasko raised $1,050 for Scouting and lost his hair and his beard int he process!

Why July 30?

Most Northwest Ohio schools begin earlier than those of the southern Districts. In order to best serve our units and equip you for fall recruiting, the District Board thought it best to schedule our Roundtable earlier. We also plan to have flyers done for pickup or delivery by 7/30 or 8/13/20.
