Day Camp - 3 Days
Cub Scouts have their choice of three District Day Camps this summer. These camps give the Cub Scout an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities designed around a theme. Cub Scouts can attend any day camp that works within their family schedule.
Day Camp - 5 Days
Boys and girls in the Arrowwood and Great Oaks Districts have their choice between two sessions of Camp Berry Day Camp this summer. Are you a registered scout, maybe have a sister at home or a friend who wants to see what you do? Do you just want to go outside and enjoy nature? Camp is open to ALL youth. The same program will run both weeks with outdoor activities designed around the theme: Western Adventure.
NOTE: If you are a Tiger Scout - Tiger camp is three days (Wed., Thurs., Fri.) for each of the two sessions. Tiger camp must be attended by both the scout and parent.
WBW Resident Camp
This 3 day/2 night camping experience is offered to all registered Wolves, Bears and Webelos (as of Fall 2016). This extended stay at Camp Lakota in Defiance or Camp Berry in Findlay gives the Cub Scout the opportunity to become familiar with our council camps and overnight camping. Scouts will enjoy swimming, shooting BB guns and aiming for that elusive archery bullseye. This experience is also a chance to jump start advancement for the coming year. So, what do you get? A cool t-shirt, patch, seven yummy meals, two night stay in camp, three days making new friends, running around camp, advancement adventures and FUN. The theme for WBW: Oregon Trail
NOTE to Camp Berry Sessions: You have the choice of either a tent or a cabin.
Three-fourths of the word 'Scouting' is 'Outing'. Weekend camping is available for in-council and out-of-council Packs, Troops and Crews.
