Camperships

The Black Swamp Area Council is committed to ensuring every youth has the opportunity to attend camp. The Council provides financial assistance—often referred to as camperships—to families and youth who may not otherwise be able to attend camp.

The 2026 application season for Scouts BSA Summer Camp, Cub Resident Camp, Adventure Camp, NYLT, and all district day camps will run from February 1, 2026, through April 15, 2026. Once all applications are received, a volunteer committee will meet to award camperships. Families will be notified by email of their awarded amount on May 1.
