James E. West Fellowship

At the September Executive Board Meeting, Vice President of Endowment Stan Doty presented Board Member Chuck Clapper with a new James E. West Fellowship Award for the Black Swamp Area Council.

The James E. West Fellowship Award recognizes individuals, foundations and corporations that make a gift of $1,000 to the Black Swamp Area Council, Boy Scouts of America Endowment Fund. The gift can be made in memory or honor of a Scouter. The principal of the gift is retained forever and the annual income is used to benefit in perpetuity. For more information on the James E.
