Search and Rescue Merit Badge

 

Purpose

Provide Scouts with an opportunity to learn about Search and Rescue and to participate in a variety of scenarios.

Friday April 30

Camping

 

  • Camping is available Friday and Saturday evening – no more than 12 per campsite, including adults
  • If registering more than 12 - you will need to submit two registrations
  • Campsite assignment will be done by the camporee director
  • Patrols should be prepared to provide their own meals during the camporee
  • Rosters must be turned in at check-in for security and contact tracing needs
  • Masks should be worn when not able to be six feet apart from others that are not in your own household
  • One person per tent

 

Fees

Youth                 $14.00 per person
Adults                $11.00 per person

Includes camping cost, patch, program supplies, sanitation supplies, thank you’s for Emergency Management Agencies and staff volunteers

Troops will feed themselves. No meals provided this camporee. (Great time to work on cooking merit badge in campsites)

Description

Hasty Team/Hasty Search

  • Patrols participate in three of four different Search and Rescue scenarios.
  • Each Patrol will staff the ICS for one scenario and

perform the Hasty Search for two scenarios.

Cancellation Policy
