Military family fee waiver effective June 1, 2026

Scouting America is committed to expanding access to Scouting for military-connected youth. Please see details below in the graphic. 

Black Swamp Area Council is currently reviewing the council service fee in relationship to the national change in registration fees.

Please note: The council service fee of $40 will still be charged for youth registrations. To receive a refund for this $40 fee, please email your request to mandy.meadows@scouting.org. Be sure to include youth name(s) and unit number.
