Scouting for Food: Scouts Continue a Tradition of Service
Scouting for Food is one of Scouting’s most visible and impactful annual service projects, bringing together Scouts, families, and community partners to help address food insecurity across our council’s communities. Thank you to our units that preoredred their door hangers.
Following their neighborhood food collection efforts, units are asked to record their service hours in Scoutbook once food pickup is complete. Tracking service hours helps demonstrate the collective impact Scouts have in serving others and strengthens future community partnerships.
As an alternative to Scoutbook, units may also submit their service hours through the online reporting form available at:

Units will be notified when Scouting for Food door hangers are available for pickup. Door hangers will be distributed at the location selected by the unit during their request, and notifications will be sent once materials arrive.
Thank you to all Scouts, unit leaders, and volunteers who make Scouting for Food possible. Your commitment to helping others reflects the very best of the Scout Oath and Law—and makes a meaningful difference for families in need throughout our communities.
