Great Oaks DE recognized by home council

Congratulations to Great Oaks District Executive Brendan Erwin for being recognized by the Dan Beard Council, based in Cincinnati. Brendan is one of five individuals to be part of the first group honored with the council’s Ascending Eagle Award.

Presented by the Eagle Scout Association, the Ascending Eagle Award recognizes Eagle Scouts age 35 and under who continue to lead and serve their communities through the values of Scouting.

Brendan, who is an Eagle Scout from Dan Beard Council and District Executive with Black Swamp Area Council, supports more than 30 units across three counties. His district led the council in new Scout recruitment this year, and he continues to grow Scouting through professional leadership and training.

He and the others were honored at the council’s recognition event earlier than month.
