We are just over one month away from the 2020 Scouting for Food week, and we are incredibly excited about this year's drive.

The dates for this year are:

         Saturday, March 7th - Distribute door hangers

         Saturday, March 14th - Collection of donations

This year, we decided to focus our efforts on a more sustainable option to our traditional plastic grocery bags.  With that in mind, this year we will be distributing door hangers to the houses in our communities.  The door hanger encourages members of our communities to recycle a grocery bag for their donations.

Thank you to the McDonald's franchises across our Council for sponsoring this year's Scouting for Food campaign.  They have also graciously included a coupon on each of the door hangers.

Your participation in the Scouting for Food campaign is incredibly important to each of your communities.  The efforts of your Scouts, and adult leaders, do not go unnoticed by those in need.  We encourage you to participate, and look forward to hearing about your successes!
