National Service Territory 9 presents…
Cub Scout Leadership Summit, March 26, 2022
First Lutheran Church, 109 E. Lincoln Street, Findlay Ohio

Cub Scouts! The very sound of it brings excitement, fun and adventure into the minds and hearts of thousands of eligible youths each year. Besides having fun and growing, our Cub Scout program offers advancement, community and personal growth. That’s not why kids join;
but that’s what they (and parents) get when they come into the Cub Scout community. Things have changed greatly the past 2 years and our Scouting methods need to change as well to meet the needs of youth who want adventure and parents that want safe and fun activities.
If you agree with this, come join us!
This Cub Scout Leadership Summit for council and district leaders who are responsible for Cub Scout program, unit support and are committed to help grow our Cub Scout community. Breakout sessions that day will be presented in a round-robin format, so everyone who attends will obtain the same information and share notes on what works best and what needs to be done better. Topics will include:
- Building the Cub Scout Community within the Pack
- The Cub Scout Parent of today
- Is School Night the only option for packs to get new members?
- Overcoming the “I Just Want to Help” syndrome (for new Den Leaders)
The Scout Shop will offer a trading post and a special feature will be information from Anthony Berger, National Cub Scout Director during lunch. The afternoon will feature a “problem solving” discussion using the whole group in teams. It promises to be fun and informational!
A block of rooms has been set aside at the Hancock Hotel next to the church. A rate of $99.00 per night is available. Go to: www.hancockhotel.com; under more options, use the code “202203AMERI”. Must book by February 23. Parking at the church is permitted Friday night.
