Conservation Camporall event planning underway
A great Earth Day related activity for both Troops and Packs is planned for April 11-12, 2026, at Camp Lakota. Come out for the day or stay the night, as we give back and help Camp Lakota.
This Conservation Camporall is geared toward a conservation theme and service project(s) will be conducted at Camp Lakota, for both Scouts BSA and Cub Scout members. Units are urged to camp together, but individual Scouts and families can participate either in weekend camping or single day efforts. Community groups are encouraged to participate too.
WHO: All Scouting – Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts & community
WHAT: help camp, then stay for fun & campfire
WHEN/COST: Schedule for your convenience – your choice:
- Camping available: April 10-12. Friday evening check-in begins at 6 p.m., depart Sunday by 11 a.m.
- Weekend Price: Early bird: $10/person by March 20; Regular: $15/person after March 20.
- Includes camp site, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner & Sunday breakfast. Same price for groups providing its own food and cooking in campsite.
- Units camping MUST bring copy of roster of its participants and required copies of Medical Forms (Parts A & B; and if participant wants to be on climbing wall Parts A,B,C).

FRIDAY
- 6-8 p.m. Check-in opens (no food provided Friday)
SATURDAY
- 8-9 a.m. Day of check-in opens; Breakfast at Cooper Lodge in Keith Hubbard Dining Hall, for those who registered for weekend camping. No breakfast for Day-of registrations.
- 9 a.m. Morning Work Session begins (projects to be assigned)
- 11:30 a.m. Free time
- 12-1 p.m. Lunch at Cooper Lodge in Keith Hubbard Dining Hall
- 1-3 p.m. Afternoon Work Session begins (projects to be assigned)
- 3 p.m. Activities Open
- Planned activities: Cub Adventure “Champions For Nature” with Nature Area 1 & Nature Area 2; Cub & Scouts BSA Range Sports; Climbing Tower; and field games.
- 6-7 p.m. Dinner at Cooper Lodge in Keith Hubbard Dining Hall
- 8-9 p.m. Campfire
- 11 p.m. Lights Out
SUNDAY
- 8-9 a.m. Breakfast at Cooper Lodge in Keith Hubbard Dining Hall
- 9-10 a.m. Finish any projects as needed
- 11 a.m. All depart camp
