Has your unit signed up to sell popcorn?

Is your unit still on the fence about participating in this Fall's popcorn sale? The Fall popcorn sale is one of the easiest fundraisers that your unit could participate in and gives your scouts the chance to learn life skills like, leadership and entrepreneurship! With the new commission structure, units will have the opportunity to earn more in commissions than in previous years. We are rolling out some new items in this year's sale so it is sure to be a 'POPPING' good time!

Popcorn Kickoff Dates and Locations

Popcorn kickoff is just around the corner! Arrowwood, Chinquapin and Great Oaks districts will have their kickoff on August 9 while Old Sycamore district will have their kickoff on August 14. The locations and times of those kickoffs are as follows:

• Arrowwood, Aug 9 at 7pm 
  • Camp Berry 11716 Co Rd 40, Findlay OH
• Chinquapin, Aug 9 at 7pm
  • St. Paul United Methodist Church 400 Wayne Ave. Defiance, OH
• Great Oaks, Aug 9 at 6pm
  • Lima Scout Service Center 752 W Robb Ave. Lima, OH
• Old Sycamore, Aug 14 at 7pm
  • St. John Lutheran Church 1100 N Main St. Celina, OH

If you cannot make it to your district kickoff, you can attend one of the other district's kickoff or the *NEW* kernel training on August 18 from 10am-noon in Donnell Lodge at Camp Berry. The August 18 training is an opportunity for new kernels to learn more about the ins and outs of the popcorn or for those kernels that would like more in-depth training.

Be sure to have your Unit Popcorn Kernel attend one of these trainings (either August 9, 14 or 18) and your unit will earn a 3% commission bonus! This person must be different from your Membership Champion.
