Dear Black Swamp Scouting Family,

As a follow up to last week’s email, we are very excited to announce our summer program opportunities. Scouts that are a part of the Scouts BSA program will have two different program opportunities that they can opt to participate in.

Virtual Program “CyberSwamp”

• 3 sessions available: June 22-26, June 29-July 3, July 6-10
• Week-long program that includes up to 6 merit badges
• 35+ merit badges will be offered
• Scouts can sign up for multiple weeks
• Includes camp t-shirt/patch and some merit badge kits/supplies that will be mailed to the Scout
• Spirit Points Program introduced to add some extra FUN into the program experience

Mini Sessions

• 6 sessions at each camp available: July 12-14, July 15-17, July 19-21, July 22-24, July 26-28, July 29-31
• 3-day, 2-night program
• Participants will stay with their own “circle” and will travel together throughout their time of camp
• Round robin program schedule
• Plenty of time will be set aside in the daily schedule for sanitation of program areas and equipment between uses
• Scouts will be required to wash hands and follow social distancing protocols

The Order of the Arrow is working on plans for virtual call outs this summer. More details to be released in the coming weeks.

Cub families, we have not forgotten about you! We are working with the local health departments to determine what the best cub summer program will look like. In the next few weeks, we look forward to sharing our plan with you.
