Has your unit signed up to sell popcorn?

A Council lead fundraiser allows the unit to sell an item that is recognized beyond the Scouting doors. The public associates popcorn as a Scouting fundraiser. The Boy Scouts have been involved with popcorn sales for more than 25 years and work closely with the vendors.

This fundraiser also allows your Scout group to do activities you wouldn’t be able to afford and helps units to assist families. One fundraiser, once a year, done well, allows for Scouting fun the rest of the year!

Selling popcorn along with the Friends of Scouting campaign helps Council to offset the expense for program materials, camp operations and supplies, insurance to protect volunteers, Scouts, staff and property, and assistance to individuals. Thus, keeping the cost of Scouting at a minimum for all.
