CHINQUAPIN

Deliver the Promise

We will be having a great event at Camp Lakota and Camp Berry this weekend. I encourage all new scouts for all Cub Packs and Troops attend, so if you have new boys make sure to remind them about our day of Fun at Camp. AND REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR ROCKETS AS WE ROCKET INTO SCOUTING!!!!

Swamp Romp

I know Chinquapin is having some Troops and Packs attend our Swamp Romp. It will be an amazing event!! As I describe it to new or younger scouts, it is just like a huge Scouting Fair!!! But you want to make sure you sign up; it is going to be huge!!!!!

Meecheway 5K

After you ROMP IN THE SWAMP, make sure to run through the trails at our Meecheway 5K race. Race is Sat. Oct. 15th and registration is at 8AM. Make sure to sign up before the 25th for the Early Bird fee.

Recruiting

It is always a good time to join Scouts!!! We had a successful fall recruitment this year. We do still have some units still recruiting due to the Williams and Fulton Co Fairs.  I hope to see those youth men grow in the program as Scouting helps them grow academically, physically, socially, and spiritually.
