Great Oaks welcomes new District Executive

Jim Mason promoted to Development Director

Welcome Sydni Winkler, District Executive for Great Oaks District. Sydni was born and raised in Lima, Ohio and graduated from Lima Senior High School in 2014. After high school, she continued her studies at Bowling Green State University and earned a degree in Communications with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. While at school, she was involved in Kappa Delta National Sorority and Dance Marathon at BGSU. Taking many leadership positions kept her busy while she was not in the classroom.

In her free time, Sydni enjoys relaxing and watching movies. She enjoys meeting new people and getting involved in new, fun things. She is excited to start working with the Boy Scouts as the District Executive serving Allen, Hardin, and Putnam counties! Colin Earl, Assistant Scout Executive will be her support and mentor.

Jim Mason promoted to Development Director

Jim Mason has been promoted to the council’s Development Director. Jim has been serving successfully as the District Director of the Great Oaks District for the last four years.  Jim’s new roll will include support to the fundraising & development operation of the council and support to the District Executives in each of the district campaigns and special events. Jim will also be serving as the staff advisor to the popcorn sale, golf classic, and sporting clays event.  In addition, Jim will the lead the relationships with our 13 United Way partners.  Jim's new phone number is 567.208.5304.
