Welcome Erika Dutcher, Senior District Executive serving Chinquapin District 

Senior District Executive, Erika Dutcher, has served Scouting with enthusiasm and passion for nearly seven years. Communication is vital to Erika, and she believes that multiple channels of communication are necessary to reach today’s generationally diverse society. Erika holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Her business background provides an enjoyable benefit in working with community leaders. She has also served our nation in the Army National Guard as a field medical specialist for over 12 years.

In her spare time, Erika has served in church worship ministry as a singer and music arranger for the last eight years. She will reside in Wauseon, Ohio with her husband, Frank, and Star Scout son, Matthew, who starts high school this fall. Erika enjoys science fiction and action movies, music, strategy games and nature. She is always up for a good laugh and strives to find the positive in every situation. When asked about her philosophy as a Scouting professional, Erika said, “I invest in donors and volunteers so that they, in turn, invest in the youth and build them into the next generation of responsible leaders.”
