As the year comes to an end we as Scouts can reflect on the year and hopefully smile over good memories from attending camp, cooking a Dutch oven meal, or gaining a new hobby or skill. In Arrowwood, we are ending the year with 51 units and over 300 new Scouts! It has been a wonderful year and I think the high spirits will continue into the next year.

This month’s Roundtable which will be held at St. Wendelin’s Catholic Church on December 12^th from 7:00-8:30PM will be holiday themed. I invite you to bring your favorite holiday treat to share and if you have any toys you wish to donate to Toys for Tots we will be doing a collection.

During the new year we can expect some additions to training. We welcome Tammy Speer as the new training chair for the Council. National has also made available the Charter Org Representative training online. The new YPT hasn’t come out yet, but it will be rolled out in the next year. This training will be mandatory every year and will be a little bit longer, but it will cover all the different avenues of Scouting so there won’t be separate ones needed for Venturing, and Boy Scouts.

Come join Santa at Camp Berry on December 9^th from 9AM-11:30AM for breakfast and pictures. It is $15 a child, and $10 an adult. There is limited space register online!

Klondike will be held at Camp Lakota this year on January 20 from 8AM-4PM. Join our 2 cities and have fun playing in the snow…if there is any.
