Scouting for Food Bags

We are incredibly excited for the 2017 Scouting for Food drive which is just around the corner!

This year's drive runs from March 4 through March 11.

Unfortunately, this year, we were unable to secure our sponsorship for bags for this year. 

This year, we have decided to try a new, sustainable tactic. We are currently printing half sheet flyers for our scouts to distribute. These flyers encourage our community members to recycle a used grocery bag from a previous shopping trip. They will then leave those bags on their door step as usual for the scouts to collect on March 11.

We have these flyers available now. You can go to any of these locations to pick up flyers: Findlay Scout Office, Camp Lakota, Lima Scout Shop. We will also be distributing a supply of flyers to each District Executive in case your unit needs additional flyers. The flyer is also available electronically on the council website, or by following the link here, to print additional flyers.
