Scouting is more than just camping and activities, it prepares young people for life with character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Research done at Tufts University has found that Scouting does in fact have a measurable, positive impact in the character development of young people. You can read more about this study here.

Scouting has programs for boys in grades 1st through 8th and coed programs for young people in high school.

Scouting is also always looking for volunteers to help deliver the Scouting program, contact the council service center at (419) 422-4356.

You can find your local Scouting Program at www.BeAscout.org.
