Award Eligibility:

• Registered, active members of Boy Scout Troops, Girl Scout Troops, Venturing Crews, or Sea Scout Ships
• Recipients of Eagle Scout Award, Girl Scout Gold Award, Venture Summit Award, or Sea Scout Quartermaster Award
• Maximum age of 18 years old (or still in high school at submission deadline)
• Open to Scouts throughout St. Tammany Parish

Application Deadline: December 1, 2025

We believe many of your outstanding Scouts would be excellent candidates for this recognition and scholarship opportunity. By sharing this information with your members and their parents, you can help ensure that deserving young leaders receive the recognition they have earned through their dedication to Scouting values and community service.

The completed application and supporting materials should be submitted directly to our VFW Post by the December 1st deadline if they want to get early recognition. Winners will be recognized at our annual Christmas dinner alongside their families and other distinguished community members.
