Black Swamp Area Council invites you to join us for our NEW Western Adventure Camp!

Kids entering 1st through 5th grade will enjoy a variety of OUTDOOR and ADVENTURE activities.

With an emphasis on Nature, Sports, Teamwork, Science and FUN.

 

We combined our resident program into our day camp week, providing your scouts an extended camping experience.

 
Day camp is for 5 days from approx 8:30am to 3:45pm, Monday thru Friday.  We offer two sessions - July 25th to 29th
and August 1st thru 5th - with the same schedule/activities both weeks.  The cost for this is $55/youth with an
optional $15/youth for camp provided lunch.  You can also pack each day if you do not want the camp lunch. 
Parents can attend as den walkers, for free, with their sons but they must take youth protection. 
 
Resident camp is open to all Wolf, Bear & Webelo scouts and runs Wednesday am thru close of camp of Friday (3:45pm).
The boys will stay 2 nights and have extra activities and advancement opportunities.  The cost for this camp is
$105/boy and his meals for the 3 days are included.  Adult leadership / parents cost $50 for this camp but, if your unit
signs up 8 boys in the same basket (for Resident or Ultimate camp) 1 adult is free.  The boy to leader/adult ratio is
2 adults for every 8 boys.
 
Ultimate camp is open to all Wolf, Bear & Webelo scouts and includes the resident camp and 2 days of day camp. 
Boys attend all 5 days but go home on Monday & Tuesday evening.  Optionally, units have the opportunity to come in and
set up and stay on Tuesday night for no additional fee.  The cost for this camp is $125/youth and includes lunch
Monday & Tuesday, a snack Tuesday night, and all meals on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until camp dismisses at
3:45pm.  Adults cost the same $50 with the same ratio.
 
All participants receive a t-shirt, patch and all supplies for the activities,  Ultimate campers will receive 2 t-shirts &
Patches.  All participants & adults must complete a BSA Health Form (Parts A & B).  Additionally, we will have swim
tests the weekend prior to your camp on both Saturday & Sunday.
