The Black Swamp Area Council is inviting you to participate in this year’s Eagle Scout & Youth Recognition Dinner.  The council had to postpone the originally scheduled event in March due to the Stay at Home orders from the Covid -19 pandemic.  This year’s event has been rescheduled as a Virtual Recognition event.  The 2019 Eagle Class Virtual Recognition event will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 7:30pm.  The Council realizes many spring activities were canceled due to the Covid -19 pandemic and do not want to miss the opportunity to recognize our Council’s Eagle Scout achievements. The council felt that this was the most prudent way to present last year’s class and keep everyone safe from a health concern.

Each youth will still be paired with a community sponsor. The evening will include the recognition ceremony, class honoree presentation and keynote address from Justice Sharon Kennedy of the Ohio Supreme Court.

Every device that will be streaming the virtual event needs to register. There is a limit on the number of devices that can be on the stream, so we need to make sure we have everyone register so that we can make sure we can have as many families as possible be able to view the event.

Prospective sponsors can elect to sponsor an Eagle Scout for $85. Prospective sponsors that are unable to attend but would still like to support the event can do so as a Palm Sponsor at either a $50, $100 or $200 level.  To become a sponsor, you can either register online or print the below registration form and mail into the Findlay Service Center.

This year, there are also title sponsor and corporate sponsor options. Details about these options can be seen below in the sponsor brochure.

Eagle Scouts, sponsors and guests must register by  August 17, 2020.
