New Unit Popcorn Kernel Orientation and popcorn sale training

This is a new opportunity for units to learn about the Fall 2018 Popcorn Sale. 

This is a combination of training for new unit kernels and others in the group, as well as an opportunity for veteran kernels to sharpen their popcorn sales' skills will be offered.

This popcorn learning session takes place Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. and wrapping up by 11 a.m. at Camp Berry, 11716 County Road 40, Findlay, OH, in the dining hall.

Day's agenda

• 9-9:45 a.m. - NEW online sales platform: the new online sale platform is an improvement and offers an easier use for all. This robust and dynamic system allows for the best of both worlds for our selling Scouts and buyers. From the ease of Scout and family setup to the simple social media and email promoting of one's sale, the online system is a bona fide tool for your popcorn sale efforts.
• 10-10:50 a.m. -  Unit Kernel training: this session will focus on all that a unit kernel needs to have a successful sale. From basic ordering for the unit, to managing the unit sale, to offering key tips from individuals who have successfully been involved in selling Scout popcorn for years. The "kernel boot camp" offers something for the new unit kernel and the experience unit kernel, who's looking to help grow their Scouting efforts better.

There will be light refreshments and drinks available for those attending. You can also expect product samples and prizes during the presentation!
